Went to The Land of Legends theme park/waterpark today.
Loved that the place was empty.
Loved the concept - combo of theme & water park - had a few really decent rollercoasters.
Loved the Dolphin show. Weirdly got choked up watching it - I couldn't believe the stuff they could do.
Loved that it was much more compact than most theme parks - much less time spent walking around - basically two central areas - one for rides and one for water slides.
Loved the big wave pool area with the bar near it. Could see us spending a really fun day here when it's proper hot and there are much more people.
Hated that you had to pay for everything with an nfc bracelet.
Hated that they let us pay for the Fastpass even though there was basically no one there.
Hated the extent to which everything was outrageously expensive - e.g. €30 for 2 cocktails.
Still in Antalya. We met up with Faith's colleague Matthieu, his wife and their son in the morning and rented a speedboat for 2 hours. It took us out along the coast and to several caves and a waterfall, then finally to a beach where we all jumped in - the water felt very cold at the beginning but the longer we stayed in the more comfortable it got - was a really nice trip with really nice people.
